Real Annabelle Doll Starts Cross Country Tour

Final Destination: Bloodlines has taken the franchise to new heights while retaining all the suspense and dark humor of its oeuvre.

But one person stands out in the new film and fans are hoping to see more of him in other projects. His name is Richard Harmon and plays Erik, the emo slash goth character who steals the show.

Final Destination: Bloodlines

He was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada in 1991. You may already know him from shows such as The 100, I Still See You, or The Age of Adeline

Harmon is a Horror fan. If you didn’t know, he also had parts in seasonal favorite Trick ‘r Treat (2007). He spoke about that role —- a career turning point —- in 2022 for Swagger Magazine.

“Being a part of Trick ‘r Treat was more monumental for me than probably a lot of people realize,” he says. “I was gonna quit acting when I was 15 and then I was like, well let’s do one last audition, and then I booked a different job and I was like, okay, let’s do one more, then I booked that job and things just started working out. But I was still dead set thinking I’m not gonna make a career out of this. I don’t think that I have what it takes really.”

With large eyes, bushy eyebrows and a prominent nose, he’s not traditionally handsome but he’s definitely attractive. Especially if he shaves his heavy beard hair and takes a trip to the barber.

His clean-shaven look impressed the Hallmark Channel; in 2022 he starred in Game, Set, Love, one of the studio’s signature rom coms. It was a genre switch no one saw coming.

He told Media Village the role wasn’t exactly what he was used to. As a horror fan, he liked scarier parts such as Van Helsing and Bates Motel. His pals were even surprised.

“My friends were like, ‘What’s the movie you’re doing? A Hallmark movie? You can’t get bloody, and you can’t be murdering anyone!’ It was fun to tell them, ‘I’ll be falling in love and playing tennis.’ It’s so refreshing and sort of out of my normal wheelhouse. Plus, I got to work with my sister Jessica (Harmon), who directed the film. Richard Harmon likes love, and he believes in love. Why can’t he fall in love in a movie?”

While he’s not falling in love in Final Destination: Bloodlines, he has fans falling in love him. You might not read or watch a review that doesn’t mention how great Harmon is in it.

The film has become the highest-grossing rated R horror movie in the past decade, and it’s box office receipts, let’s just say, it beat out a Marvel movie people actually liked.

It’s no surprise that he was a perfect fit for Bloodlines, doing this role as Erik was a watershed moment for the actor.

“I mean I grew up with these movies and I’m a massive horror movie fan,” Harmon said in a recent interview. “This is the defining part of my person, my being. This is truly a dream come true.”

He has some other projects coming up, including two horror movies: Pitfall and One Mile. But something tells us his price just went up and we will see him in bigger projects in the near future.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
