The teams in the weekend’s second NFL divisional round doubleheader already knew they were playing for a spot in the conference championship game.

Now they’re aware of the destination, too.

With the sixth-seeded upstart Washington Commanders knocking off the No. 1 Detroit Lions on Saturday, the Los Angeles Rams or Philadelphia Eagles will host the NFC championship game on the strength of winning their divisions.

In the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills are vying to earn a trip to top-seeded Kansas City.

Let’s look at some best bets for these matchups.

NFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS: RAMS VS. EAGLES

Pick your trope: It’s difficult to beat a team twice in the same season or win three times if you already swept a divisional foe ahead of a playoff meeting.

Sure, sure.

Repeating what Eagles running back Saquon Barkley did to the host Rams in Week 12 is tougher still. Barkley gashed LA for a franchise-record 255 rushing yards to help Philadelphia to a 37-20 rout, scoring two touchdowns along the way.

Per ESPN Research, none of the eight runners who gained 200 yards against a team in the regular season accomplished the feat again in a playoff rematch. But 113.5 yards, the standard for Barkley in this one, definitely seems doable, even in the snow. This is a Rams defense that allowed 4.6 yards per carry during the regular season, tied for 26th in the NFL.

AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS: RAVENS VS. BILLS

A parlay that loops opposing quarterback rushing props may involve four legs, but it counts only as two.

At any rate, signs point to it connecting in a game in which the forecast calls for single-digit wind chills, moderate winds and a chance of isolated snow flurries.

Fact is, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and Bills counterpart Josh Allen are adept at keeping the ball themselves when needed. Allen totes the most rushing yards by a signal-caller in NFL postseason history (609) into this one, a distinction Jackson, who has 602 such yards, may overtake by night’s end in Orchard Park, N.Y.

While Baltimore and Buffalo rank in the top 11 for quarterback rushing yards allowed, the Ravens give Jackson lots of freedom to create, and he may need it more than usual with the Bills keying on running back Derrick Henry.

We figured to hear lots about the QBs during the telecast as Jackson and Allen had strong MVP cases during the regular season. The trend continues in step with their ground games.

Josh Allen over 49.5 rushing yards and Lamar Jackson over 55.5 rushing yards as a two-leg parlay, +275 (BetMGM)

Bills running back James Cook has not had a reception since a narrow home win against New England in Week 16 but had catches in 14 of 15 games before that. He made one catch for nine yards in Buffalo’s blowout loss at Baltimore in Week 4 after posting a season-best 48 receiving yards the previous week.

The Ravens allowed Steelers running backs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren to gain 60 combined receiving yards on seven catches in the wild-card round. Look for the Bills to throw more out of the backfield today after not really needing to in their playoff opener against Denver.
