100 Thieves sink Cloud9 in Championship of The Americas

100 Thieves topped Cloud9 1-0 in the upper-bracket final on Sunday to secure the top spot at the League of Legends Championship of The Americas North 2025 Split 1 in Los Angeles.

To reach the upper-bracket final, 100 Thieves edged Team Liquid 2-1 while Cloud9 defeated FlyQuest by the same score.

After a 34-minute win on red, 100 Thieves, still playing on red, fell in 41 minutes against Team Liquid. However, Thieves recovered with a 32-minute victory on blue to close out the match.

Cloud9 had to rally from a 1-0 deficit to down FlyQuest.

All matches in the double-elimination tournament are best-of-three aside from seed definition matches, which are best-of-one. Four of the eight participating teams will qualify for the Cross-Conference tournament, which will start on Feb. 15 and run through Feb. 23.

Play will resume next Sunday with three matches:

–FlyQuest vs. Dignitas (lower-bracket semifinal)

–Team Liquid vs. Shopify Rebellion (lower-bracket semifinal)

–Winners of lower-bracket semifinals (lower-bracket final)
