Dalle Piane Recycled

The garments of the Dalle Piane Recycled line contain at least 50% regenerated fibres with the remaining content being virgin fibres.

The result of this process is a high quality, luxuriously soft product which nevertheless contributes to reducing the environmental impact.

The cashmere used to make this product is obtained thanks to a sustainable, responsible and social production process.

The yarn is made by recovering old cashmere garments and production waste, which are shredded and processed, with the addition of virgin fibre in yarn that is subsequently used to create new garments in cashmere.

Knitting the yarn into a fabric

The process of creating a knitted fabric, known as machine knitting, is carried out on a rectilinear frame loom.

The resulting fabrics are left to settle for a day to regain their natural shrinkage following tension and elongation caused by the weaving process.

Garment assembly

This is the stage in which the various parts of the garment are assembled: front, back, sleeves, edges and collars.

We use tools such as sewing machines, cutters and linking machines, which require highly specialised operators to offer an excellent level of quality of the finished garments.

Washing and ironing

All our garments are washed during a phase known as 'fulling', which gives the garment the customary softness typical of cashmere.

The final ironing completes and enhances all previous operations.

The garment is then bagged and ready to be sold.
