The Justice Department moved to dismiss federal corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Friday. It comes after several federal prosecutors, including the lead attorney overseeing the case in Manhattan, have resigned after they refused to follow an order from the Justice Department to drop the charges. NBC’s Aaron Gilchrist reports for TODAY.
