First Aid Beauty has recalled 2,756 14-ounce jars of its “Ultra Repair Cream, colloidal oatmeal 0.5% Coconut Vanilla” that were sold on the brand’s website. The recall was initiated on December 23, 2024, because of “deviations,” the notice said. The FDA did not classify The First Aid Beauty recall as a Class II recall until January 21, 2025.
Class II is the second highest FDA risk level. Class II indicates a product “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.” The possibility of serious health consequences is “remote.”
According to First Aid Beauty, the issue was first discovered on November 20th, 2024. The company realized nearly 3,000 units “not intended for market sale” were sold on its website. “We issued an email directly to impacted consumers, proactively sent a replacement Ultra Repair Cream Grapefruit and provided direction to stop product use of the Ultra Repair Cream Coconut Vanilla and discard,” the company wrote on its website.
The First Aid Beauty recall includes 14-ounce jars of Ultra Repair Cream, colloidal oatmeal 0.5 percent in the Coconut Vanilla scent. Affected jars have lot codes 24D44 (expiring April 10, 2026) and 24D45 (expiring April 11, 2026).
If your Ultra Repair Cream falls under this recall, please discontinue use immediately. Consumers can also contact First Aid Beauty for a potential refund or replacement.
