With huge surges in raspberry perfumes and berry blushes leading the way, we’re ready for the year of the berry to officially begin.

According to Spate, berry blush has grown by +96.3 percent compared to last year. 2024 already saw a significant rise in deep blushes, including the purple blush trend. So, this continued growth shows just how dominant these berry tones have become. In fact, berry blush receives an average of 471.9K weekly views on TikTok alone.

Alongside the rise in berry-inspired blushes, raspberry fragrances have also seen a significant surge in popularity. Despite not reaching mainstream popularity, raspberry scents have grown +363.6 percent compared to last year across all platforms. With that kind of growth, the year of the berry is shaping up to be a big one.

According to Spate, berry blush and raspberry perfume are the fastest-growing beauty trends. And after a year completely in love with blush, brands are already geared up for the influx of interest in these deep blush tones. Spate reports that brands like Milani, e.l.f. and Revlon already dominate Google search queries for berry blush, demonstrating how prepared brands are to meet the moment. In fragrance, the popularity of gourmand scents feeds directly into interest in raspberry notes, which are often paired with warm, dessert notes.
