Vasco da Gama Bridge, named after the famous 15th-century explorer, Vasco da Gama, this immense cable-stayed bridge across the Tagus River is eleven miles long, and punctuated with more than seven miles of bridges and viaducts (tripadvisor). Got there by Uber, but first a round trip on the bridge itself in courtesy of broken Uber driver app. Beautiful place to be on a saturday morning.
