Tried-and-true beauty obsessives will remember Cacharel’s lipstick-shaped fragrance, “Yes I Am,” which debuted in 2018. As unforgettable as its sweet and spicy scent is, it’s been nearly a decade since the L’Oréal-owned brand introduced a new fragrance—until now. Enter Cacharel Ella Ella, which is coming soon, as reported by WWD.
If you’re new to the French fashion and beauty brand, it’s known for its youthful, luxurious, and feminine aesthetic, exemplified by Yes I Am and now Ella Ella. “We wanted to come back with a new vision of femininity for today,” Sandrine Groslier, global president of luxe fragrance brands at L’Oréal, told the outlet. “There are new changes for this generation over the past years. We really wanted to embody this new vision of freedom, of being [true to] yourself in the world today.”
As reported by the outlet, the fragrance was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion and it boasts “notes of vanilla, orange blossom and jasmine.” The bottle itself is refillable—a detail we love not just for its sustainability factor but because the design is truly worth keeping. It features a dreamy, marble-like peachy-pink finish paired with an elegant, orb-shaped cap accented with a delicate butterfly for a whimsical touch.
While France-based beauty lovers can already get their hands on Ella Ella this month, a U.S. launch date remains up in the air, with only a vague promise of its arrival in the “first half of 2025.” Stay tuned, though—we’ll update you as soon as we learn more about its stateside debut.
