CD2 brings stellar power-pop and rock, kicking off with Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’, ahead of Elvis Presley’s ‘Suspicious Minds’ followed by Cher and the epic ‘The Whole Of The Moon’ from The Waterboys. Marc Almond’s brilliant ‘The Days Of Pearly Spencer’ leads into a run of ‘80s gems, including from, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Blondie, Kim Carnes, Dexys Midnight Runners, The Specials, The Jam and the Pretenders with ‘Talk Of The Town’, plus the stunning ‘War Baby’ from Tom Robinson. The Police’s ‘Roxanne’ is included ahead of a selection of all-time essentials including from Bob Dylan, the Stone Poneys & Linda Ronstadt, and The Mamas & The Papas’ ‘California Dreamin’ along with Harry Nilsson and Neil Diamond before closing with Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Albatross’.

CD3 opens with massive #1s from Art Garfunkel with ‘Bright Eyes’ and 10cc with ‘I’m Not In Love’. The beautiful ballads continue from The Moody Blues’ with ‘Nights In White Satin’, Chicago’s ‘If You Leave Me Now’ and Ed Sheeran’s modern classic ‘Perfect’. More contemporary pop from Lewis Capaldi and Lana Del Rey come before iconic ‘70s smashes from Carly Simon with ‘You’re So Vain’, Kiki Dee with ‘Amoureuse’ and ‘Reason To Believe’ from Rod Stewart.
