Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Camille Grammer is embracing a more natural look. In a new interview with People, the reality star shared that she no longer wants her implants to define her—along with more details about her breast implant journey.
“I don’t want to be defined by my implants,” Grammer told the outlet. “Let’s be honest, you do get judged. This is not me anymore, I’m not going to be defined by this.”
“I’m maturing and this is not the look for me,” she added.
Grammer revealed that she first got breast implants in her early 20s, calling it “a popular thing amongst little starlets.” She added, “For me, it was an aesthetic choice, I didn’t need them. I had a full B. It was just a look I was going for, following a trend.”
She admitted that removing them had been on her mind for years. Sixteen years ago, she seriously considered getting them surgically removed but opted for a replacement instead due to concerns about scarring (a natural part of the healing process that typically fades over time). However, she wasn’t exactly satisfied with the outcome, as her new implants were even larger than before.
“They were so big and I didn’t know, I was very naive,” Grammer reflected. “I would’ve been fine removing them, like I said 16 years ago, I would’ve been absolutely fine.”
This isn’t the first time Grammer has spoken about her decision. Earlier this year, she posted an Instagram selfie in a teal bikini, captioned: “New Year, new look.” Referencing her smaller chest size, she wrote, “I was over the look of my implants and wanted the natural look. I feel much better without them.” She also credited Beverly Hills aesthetic plastic surgeon Robert Cohen, MD, for the procedure.
