  1. I think my parents had some awareness of the content in these shows. We never had cable and I don't remember them ever saying we weren't allowed to watch them but they definitely steered us toward other shows when we were somewhere with cable. My parents were pretty strict with what they allowed us to watch and always watched with us if it was something that pushing the boundaries of what we were allowed to watch previously. Looking back at what was snuck into these shows I have a new level of appreciation for how diligent they were. Especially when we probably weren't particularly appreciative at the time.

  2. Don't remember his name. But if anyone ever watched To catch a predator, there was a nick animator as one of the creeps that turned up……

  3. In amandas acting her why is the one interviewing her ask her those questions which is messed up she was a kid back then and really it's really something

  4. I actually watched the Icarly reboot and just fyi it’s super woke. Definitely isn’t as well done as the original – so don’t necessarily recommend.

  5. I remember being a kid coming into my budding sexuality and being confused as to why constantly seeing Carly,Sam, and Victoria justices feet always made me hard. I didn’t understand the sexual undertones. It got me sexually curious, and one time I googled Victoria feet pics, and I was surprised to see there was so many pics spanning her entire career, and even pics for magazines, it seemed like she was just always barefoot. It kinda curved my fetish because that made me realize there was something nefarious going on. Because why so many pics ???

  6. You look like Cher from clueless

  7. I can't remember how many times that I would tell my kids, "Don't do that," regarding different pranks and jokes on different "kid shows."

  8. Drake bell took a plea deal wym allegations💀 your defending someone who did the same to little kids

  9. Thanks for covering this story !! It’s truly heartbreaking 💔 & just devastating knowing that a lot of these shows were not only apart of our childhoods, but knowing that they sacrificed their childhood for our enjoyment just to endure abuse was sickening n shocking. Watching Drake Bell share his experiences tore me to pieces I was in tears 😭. An you can tell it really broke his Dad when he found out. As s Sexual Abuse Survivor it really was triggering & really made me mad as hell knowing that Drake’s Mom in a way failed him & also Brian Peck needs to be thrown under the jail for what he did to Drake. An it’s no telling what other childhood stars were exploited or had similar experiences as Drake . Sexual Abuse/Molestation/Rape changes you Forever. Healing ❤️‍🩹 isn’t linear & We can’t HEAL what we don’t REVEAL. Also I didn’t like how Dan treated the women on set that worked for him

  10. This has been going on for decades. This happened to Shirley temple, Judy garland, and many more. These ppl need to be exploited and jailed. I'm tired of these types of ppl getting exploited, yet they still walk around getting work, still making money.

  11. The peanut butter stunt was an On Air Dare. Not Double Dare. That was a game show. The On Air Dare was like a Fear Factor thing where they did stunts.

  12. Oh Nickelodeon probably learned these tactics from Disney. They are the original pedophiles, and they are still doing it today.

  13. I was always under the impression that the jokes that were more adult jokes were there for the parents, so they wouldn't be bored out of there minds watching stupid kids shows. This is so disgusting, I had heard the rumors that these networks were run by pedophiles, but back then i thought it was a sick joke. This is disgusting 🤮🤮🤮 i feel horrible for all these young actors and actresses.

  14. Also available on ID: Investigation Discovery channel

  15. Idk if you ever watched the Brooke Shields doc “Pretty Baby” but the media treated her much the same way that Amanda was treated as a teen. Brooke was in adult skewed content but that doesn’t make it better

  16. I reorded this documentary but the more I hear about it, the less sure I am that I even want to try to sit through it. And it's worth noting that, while I'm sure examples exist, I cannot think of a single child actor who did not at least to some extent grow up to be a completely dysfunctional trainwreck of a person. There's just logically and statistically no way that is a coincidence.

  17. That man that masturbated on video and sent the actress to is a SICK PERVERT. WHY DID THE MOTHER NOT CALL THE POLICE ON HIS SICK BEHIND!

  18. He wasn’t the producer he was the assistant I got confused too which job he had on the show 🙂

  19. Someone please give Drake Bell a huge hug for me. This guy needs so much love and support. @drakebell

  20. Both of the Sprouse twins act.

  21. Amanda is so messed up I think it’s pretty obvious all evil of this world came crashing down on her.

  22. I just don’t understand how so many adults and parents were involved they all were uncomfortable but did nothing

  23. Always thought Nickelodeon and Disney shows were super dumb and now it makes sense. They basically did kid corn legally. 🤢🤢🤢
No wonder all these kids are messed up now. I’d say all of them have been permanently traumatised.

  24. Jason Handy was not a producer. He was just an assistant that would would show the kids where to go.

  25. Schneider did not win many awards at all. He won the Burbank International Children's Film Festival Award in 2000 and a lifetime achievement award from Nickolodeon in 2014. Also he was not writing on any sitcoms before Nickolodeon. Get your facts straight. All that was his first show as writer and producer.

  26. Thanks Dan for ruining my childhood and Trauma

  27. I never would have thought Drake Bell went through so much trauma. I can also never watch the Drake and Josh pilot the same way again, as it was likely filmed during the time Drake was being abused or a few weeks after Brian Peck was arrested.

  28. I sure hope Amanda Bynes recovers. They took a young star full of life and now she looks just broken, the poor girl. Heartbreaking.

  29. Honestly though, this has been going on in Hollywood for as long as Hollywood has existed. Remember the deleted Godfather scene where the film producer Woltz is having a 12 year old girl pimped out to him. Obviously the Godfather is a fictional story, but it's portraying things that actually were known to take place. This stuff has been happening in the open for so long, that people think it's normal.

  30. So Dan Schneider was basically the Vince McMahon of Nickelodeon.

  31. Isabel, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, that "Jayson" from the Brandi clip, I believe is one of several former Nickelodeon employees that were hired almost immediately after being released from jail by Disney studios… 🤬🤬

  32. Hart breaks the thought of those kids abused.

  33. I saw you on Dave Rubin's channel. I like your style, you're a good communicator, and have a positive vision for the future. Best success to you!

  34. Honesty the Amanda Bynes thing you mentioned, I can believe. 'The Creator' took a shining to her and was veeeery close to her and in the documentary, was known to disappear with her for long periods of time. He clearly has some tendencies but nothing has ever surfaced to prove anything. All we can do is speculate and put some pieces together and hope they fit and form some part of the bigger picture. I have my own theories of what could have happened and I really do hope more comes to the light against him and more people speak out NDA's be damned.

  35. Look at how Miley Cyrus acted once she was free of Disney!

  36. Two names Cory Hames, Cory Feldman. Feldman is still fighting for the truth to come out. From the 80's

  37. Unfortunately Nickelodeon is just scratching the surface of child abuse and exploitation in Hollywood.
Brittany Spears, Macaulay Culkin, Miley Cyrus, the Olsen twins and Judith Barsi just to name a few were exploited and abused and had no affiliation with Nickelodeon.

  38. I worked in the music industry. I was known for making a safe place for women in the workplace. Every morning, I started my day in my office around 7 AM with 40's and 50's rock n roll. My first day on the job at Warner Bros. Records Nashville, it took the party girls 5 minutes to find the source of the dance music. Every morning, my office was a dance hall from 7 to 8 AM. It was perfectly innocent in a very sick world of entertainment. That company was signing people for sex appeal, including the young women that worked the simple jobs. There are a few that are fighting the filth that is trying to destroy the business.
