It's definitely NOT giving, "I'm going to a football game." Even replacing one item in this outfit with a tee, a sweatshirt, a jean, a white sneaker; and opting for a high pony, would’ve vastly improved this look and made it more event appropriate

I think her style is oscillating between "second (or fifth?) adolescence" punky vibes (even the "rainbow" dress she wore out with Zoe Kravitz was Vivienne Westwood, although it didn't scream punk so much as toddler's finger painting) and boss b*tch corporate c*ntiness. I remember when she was first going out with Travis she wore a lot of "high school football game" type outfits, very cozy and youthful and a neat little throwback for us older fans, she was definitely reliving a high school experience she never had and I can't begrude a queen. But she had to grow out of that at some point, I think TTPD release was the natural exit point. I think this is also when she started adding more Westwood punk elements- plaid, quirky vintage watches etc. It seems to me that she's in an experimental style phase these days and I am 100% seated for it!
