  1. Great conversation, however surprised to not see Guenon and those who followed him discussed. He popularized the framework of committing to a chosen orthodoxy but still recognizing the validity of the other paths. The other very significant thing he would add to this conversation regarding "the time between worlds" is that this world must come to and end and that is also known as eschatology. Reign of quantity and signs of the times has to be one of the most prolific works on the topic

  3. A wonderful discussion, and I like the idea of “evolving perennialism” a lot. The tension between “values” and “legal norms” is very tough, though I agree that if laws are based on a metaphysic, there is a possibility at least of their development and change without necessarily unveiling them as arbitrary. Anyway, always great to listen to Stein, and I appreciate you both.
