  1. Disney Channel has some incredibly accurate & inaccurate medical scenes-> https://youtu.be/SgLpXbaMZMQ

  2. Bro I think trying to say he's got constipation and probably ended up in urinary retention as a complication.

  3. my natrual internal temp is like a half a degree higher than the average (according to my dr) which is why im so susceptible to things like heat stroke. (generally im extremely light sensitive too almost blind during the day)

  4. i love mini salmonellas

  5. I actually suffered some pretty severe burns on my palm and wrist years ago, the WORST pain I have ever felt. I nearly passed out when I ran cold water over the burns and the pain didn't stop until they doped me up on some kinda pain killer at the ER. I was laughing my ass off after that, it was nuts.

  6. Translate Derenheit to Celsius please.
    98.6 ferenheit = 37 Celsius

  7. "Immunity Idol" guy is fun at parties

  8. They re all starving and passing out

  9. I passed out due to heat once. I came too on the sideline drench with water.

  10. I’ve had two impactions where my bladder was blocked (pinched off by colon). The pain is UNBELIEVABLE. Once the poo is out and you can pee the relief is also UNBELIEVABLE!! 😅

  11. God i remember watching the episode with the bug in her ear, so uncomfortable!!

  12. Fluorescein stain

    Not fluorescent.

  13. I got a cat claw to the cornea once

  14. I have dealt with corneal ulcers in my life from hot candlewax getting splashed in my eyes while I had contact lenses in. Was some of the most brutal few weeks of my life.

  15. I was driving to work one morning and my hands and face started going numb and tingly. I had to pull pver and my whole upper body became numb. I called 911 and couldn't talk well because my tongue and mouth wetr numb. I wasn't panicking or anything it was just a vagus nerve attack according to the doctor i saw in emergency. Most common thing they see people for

  16. Im late i know and its just a minor thing but you told that fire releases carbonmonooxide but at the same time you showed carbondioxide in the video

  17. A bug went in my friends ear on a camping trip

  18. Around 12:20 about the bad constipation: I remember this from when I was looking at an older episode of "Dr. G. Medical Examiner" (i hope i translated that show back correctly from German). There was once a person with severe depression who rarely left the house. In his final days he became literally too lazy to get out of bed. This caused feces to accumulate and solidify in his colon. The solid block only grew over time. This severe case also affected his bladder and he peed small amounts without control over it. In the end he died because he could not get rid of the solid feces anymore which had swollen to an incredible size. As far as I remember his pains were also quite severe, so it kind of fit with the scene before. In the end there was a call out to help people with depressions. The reason why that was important is, that when you move around regularly, those stones cannot form that severely.

Just thought it was worth mentioning, since Doctor Mike didn't know it off the tip of his hat. What bothers me now is that I couldn't find a summary of the episode I watched. I know those shows are dramatically exaggerated, but maybe there is a truth behind that partly fictional case. I'm no medical expert, so I hope someone knows better – and knows where to look.

  19. Solid use of thumbnail

  20. It was a 35° day at my school once and my friend has breathing problems and like she’s got a lot of problems with your body and stuff but anyway, so it was really hot and we weren’t allowed to go inside because no teachers were there and she’s got problems, breathing and heat and stuff, but yeah, and then she ended up getting heatstroke and she fell into my arms and we were just like grabbing wet towels and putting them on a head and then we eventually woke her up And she was feeling better. She also blacked out and at a party she was at her friends weren’t letting her turn on the air conditioning like rub a little fan or anything because like it was hard for her to breathe but arm she ended up fainting at the party as well and she’s just had a very hard time in hot weather

  21. Fun fact I have a misshaped optic nerve aka I have an astigmatism that is bad I went from a -3 to a -5 and the worst astigmatism, you can get according to my optometrist is a six or seven negative

  22. Ooooof to the corneal abrasian. I've got an autoimmune disease that has the fun side effect of chronic iritis/uveitis. It hurts SO badly when I get a flare up. It's scary cuz it messes with my vision. That guy facing that out in the wilderness… Im shocked he wasn't more panicked. I really hope he faced no permanent injury and he got some numbing eyedrops while he healed. Eye injuries SUCK.
Bug in the ear is legit a fear of mine. Back in kindergarten, one of my friends managed to get a BEE in his ear and I was the one who had to go get the teachers. What made it scarier was he was severely allergic to bee venom. So he needed to stay so, so still and not freak the bee out or it could sting him. They managed to get the bee out once EMS arrived. They used something to stun the bee so they could remove it, my guess is lidocaine, then he went to the hospital just to be sure he hadn"t been stung. I only know this cuz he told me on return the next day that they dripped something in his ear to make the bee 'take a nap'. After that, bee in the ear is up there on my list of nightmare situations.

  23. 12:16 I know how that feels, I had the exact same thing

  24. OH really thats where the bag thing is from.

  25. As someone with panic attacks, I liked the way you explained it. When I get panic attacks, it amplifies any physical issues, like headaches etc, I think the way you explained it will help people understand.

  26. At 3:25 he says carbon monoxide but the graphic shows CO2 wich is carbon dioxide.

  27. Worst pain i have ever experienced is tearing my Corina from my gfs nail going in my eye i.
