Hey Zak, do you offer ride a longs? That would be cool to ride along with you for a few nights. I live up in NorCal but grew up in SoCal and I’m familiar with all the places you cover. I just think it would be a kick in the pants to pick your brain and see some of the crazy things you’ve seen. I’ve seen some crazy stuff up here in NorCal and wish I had a camera to stop and cover it. I’ve had two major accidents happen right in front of me on the bay bridge. I stopped both times to render aid. Even pulled three people out of a car on fire one morning.
Zac how do you deal with all you see. All that pain,lives changed, and seeing body parts. Etc. do you work 7 days week. 🎤🎬

Zak, I have watched many fire departments around the country. The way the LAFD response to fires is so different than FDNY. Here in California. It seems there’s 3 to 4 trucks, everyone’s fast moving, going in taking care of business. In New York there’s 20 engines, 2 or 3 ladder trucks, hundreds of firefighters on almost every incident and everyone’s standing around. LAFD half a dozen guys running around taking care of business. What a difference! Thanks for the video. I am a subscriber and I’m gonna continue to follow.

I love watching the trucks hooking up to they hydrant and then driving down the street unrolling the hose. So efficient and time saving, which in a fire situation is so important.

Another episode of various dramatic events, ending in covering the aftermath of a fatal tow truck v pedestrian hit-and-run. Sad to know someone left this world on a dark street with only strangers to care. At least it is the kind hands of LA's finest and Zak's camera skills. Even without a finger, Zak never let his work slide.
