JetBlue launches daily Boston-Paris service

JetBlue Airways has expanded its transatlantic service with the launch of a new daily nonstop flight between Boston Logan International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The inaugural flight from Boston departed on April 3rd, following the successful launch of JetBlue’s New York-Paris route last summer.

“The response to our New York-Paris flight has been overwhelming and we’ve been looking forward to adding a daily flight from Boston as well,” said Dave Clark, JetBlue’s Head of Revenue and Planning. “Boston customers have not had a lot of choices when flying to Paris, so we are more than happy to step in with affordable fares and an incredible onboard experience to shake things up and finally bring some real competition into this market.”

The new Boston-Paris route complements JetBlue’s existing transatlantic service from Boston to London, Amsterdam, and the recently added seasonal service to Dublin.

JetBlue plans to further increase Paris flight frequencies by adding a second daily flight from New York’s JFK airport starting June 20th.

The flights will be operated by JetBlue’s Airbus A321LR aircraft, configured with 24 Mint business class suites, 114 economy seats, and the airline’s Airspace cabin interior.

Massport’s Interim CEO Ed Freni welcomed the new service, stating, “This new flight gives our passengers even more choice to visit Europe and all the sights across the Atlantic.”

To celebrate the route launch, JetBlue is offering limited introductory roundtrip fares starting at $599 in economy and $2,499 in Mint from the U.S., and €499 in economy and €1,999 in Mint for France originating travelers.
