Saudi Arabia hosts special WEF meeting, confirming its efforts to foster stability and development: Al-Jadaan

RIYADH — Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan has said that hosting a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia comes as a confirmation of the country’s pioneering role in strengthening joint international efforts to confront various challenges facing the world.

He said it also confirms that these efforts came to achieve security and sustainable development for peoples and societies.

The Saudi capital Riyadh will host on Apri 28-29 the first-of-its-kind special meeting of the World Economic Forum under the slogan: “International Cooperation, Growth, and Energy for Development,”.

The meeting will be held with the participation of heads of state and policymakers from various countries of the world to discuss various global economic issues and development and also with the goal of finding common solutions to confronting humanitarian, climate, and economic challenges.

It also highlights sustainability, innovation, and culture, to achieve a comprehensive economic transformation and enhance Saudi Arabia’s position as a global destination for investment.

The meeting also includes a series of exhibitions and accompanying sideline events.
