bev: Not that far into Trail of Lightning but I am liking it so far. If you are into UF, maybe give it a shot. I’m only 15% in so it could change. Definitely a bit dark.

Michelle: Written in Red is the first book of a newer series by Anne Bishop that just sucked me in to this completely unique world. It’s my favorite paranormal read this year hands down!

Denise: My all-time favorite series in the urban fantasy genre is…The Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter. This series is a must. The first book is Skinwalker. It can be dark at times, but Jane/Beast can get into funny situations. 

Nay: I also LOVE the Jane Yellowrock books. It’s one of my top 3 UF series.

Mony: Rachel Morgan. She’s a tough witch and bounty hunter in The Hollows series by Kim Harrison. Survives constant murder attempts by elves, vampires, demons, trolls. Walks willingly into danger to help enemies and friends. Protects and helps weres, pixies & fairies. Fun & totally kickass.

Michelle:  I just started The Hollows series by Kim Harrison and am loving it
