Reader Question – The book where she’s kidnapped & will be auctioned off, but her guard is secretly nice to her…

Savanna needs our book help! There’s a ton of detail so I’m sure we’ll find it! I’ve read quite a few like this back in my dark “kidnap read” days, so I’m SO curious what this one will be. It sounds super-intense and emotional.

She asks:

Can you help me find a book?

It’s about this girl, who’s dating a man. She get’s kidnapped and held prison in a mansion that’s a brothel to be auctioned off as a sex slave. In here, there are other girls who are prostitutes but are there freely.

Her ‘bodyguard’ (the one who should keep her in line) turns out to be actually quite a nice guy, helps to keep her safe and out of the hands of any auctioner. Actually, turns out she knows the people who kidnapped her (i think it was family, or stepfamily or something, not sure anymore?).

The girl and the ‘bodyguard’ become some kind of friends and she eventually sleeps in his room to be safe, where he smokes cigarettes and had a whole lot of books. This is where she’s dreaming about her boyfriend, she gets a sexy dream and she and the ‘bodyguard’ end up having sex when she wakes all hyped up.

In one scene he gets her a cupcake from a shop outside the villa/brothel. Normally he sneaks some food from the buffet to her.

Eventually she steals his phone and calls her real boyfriend, who comes to save her. The ‘bodyguard’ get’s killed in the process. She tries to commit suïcide somewhere in the book as well.

Somewhere in the book it shows that ‘the bodyguard’ has been trying to safe another girl in the brothel in the past and fell in love with her.  She got killed along the way. If I’m not mistaken, he wrote a letter, which got me in tears.

Do you happen to know this book? Not sure anymore if it’s a stand alone or a duet/triology…

I read it online as an epub, but it might be a paper book as well. Or maybe even via wattpad/InkIt or some other app…
