Rio Gregorio, in the State of Acre (Brazil), will host the 5th Indigenous Ayahuasca Conference, led by spiritual leaders Nixiwaka Yawanawa and Putanny Yawanawa. This gathering of Indigenous peoples united by the ceremonial brew will take place from January 25-30, 2025.
The fifth edition marks a “strategic and essential step” for Indigenous governance and for strengthening the Indigenous Spiritual Leaders Council (CLEI), whose formation began at the first conference in 2017.
