There’s no reason to have a ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’

Radical left-wing propaganda reared its ugly head once again over the weekend when President Joe Biden issued a proclamation celebrating March 31, Easter Sunday, as Transgender Day of Visibility. It was an offensive declaration made by an offensive president. It was the latest example of a culturally corrupt presidential administration pandering to people with the prevalence of severe mental health irregularities under the guise of inclusivity. However, the reality is there is absolutely no reason at all to have a “Transgender Day of Visibility” — let alone on Easter Sunday.

First, consider the name of the day: Transgender Day of Visibility. It’s a ridiculous appellation that isn’t at all grounded in reality. For starters, just exactly how much more visibility do transgender people need?

One of the leading retail chains in the country had a section of its stores dedicated to transgender apparel during Pride month. Then, there is the actual existence of Pride month, which celebrates, among other things, transgender people. That is in addition to yet another made-up day called a “Transgender Day of Remembrance.”

Transgender people need visibility? Transgender people arguably receive more attention than any other group of people in the country compared to their relative microscopic part of the population. Recent studies show transgender people comprise less than half a percentage of the population in the country. No other demographic with such a minuscule part of the population receives the kind of jubilant attention that transgender people do. 

We live in an era where transgender people are remarkably visible, and to argue otherwise would be delusional. In the last several years, men have been declared women of the year. A man pretending to be a woman became a national spokesperson for a beer company. Educated and well-respected individuals have maintained that men can menstruate and get pregnant. Students, many of whom are not proficient in math, science, English, and writing, have been brainwashed in schools to believe such things as men can become women and that there are legitimately 73 genders. How much more visibility do transgender people need?

Such claims are not valid, of course, but because they reinforce the tenets of transgender ideology, they are promoted as true and legitimate. What other social demographic is given the luxury of advancing lies as truth? None, and it’s indicative of how visible transgenderism is in society.  

Moreover, consider the day’s origins. It was created in 2009 by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a rogue psychotherapist who wanted to bring attention to transgender people like him. He admitted to choosing March 31 for the date because he wanted some distance from Pride month in June and Transgender Day of Remembrance in November. In other words, he wanted to have days celebrating and honoring transgender people spread across the calendar so this kind of brainwashing propaganda could maximize its impact. 

The plan worked. Fifteen years after it began, Transgender Day of Visibility has expanded to the point that it now receives its own presidential proclamations. This reflects the enormous impact that political activists make when they are determined soldiers in a culture war. Unfortunately, it’s a lesson many Republican leaders have yet to learn.

Proponents of Transgender Day of Visibility have claimed it is a necessary day because of alleged discrimination against transgender people. Obviously, discrimination against transgender people is wrong and should not happen; every sane, rational, and logical person would agree with that. However, Transgender Day of Visibility’s initial benevolence of protecting from discrimination has expanded into an Orwellian example of the Left’s cultural indoctrination. And that was all part of the ruse in getting the day accepted in the first place.

In turn, by seeking special exceptions under the guise of fighting discrimination, left-wing activists used propaganda to influence, obtain political power, and normalize transgenderism in society. It was a strategy that could have been taken directly from the pages of George Orwell’s classic novel, Animal Farm.

Having a “Transgender Day of Visibility” is an attempt to normalize something that does not warrant any normalization. The existence of Transgender Day of Visibility is a not-so-subtle effort to facilitate a great cultural revolution predicated on left-wing social and cultural values. And instead of accepting such a day, or merely complaining about it falling on the holiest Christian day of the year, it should be adamantly denounced, rejected, and completely removed from the calendar. Any failure to do so will ultimately result in being part of the carnage left in the wake of the Left’s long march through the institutions.
