NEW YORK- Starting this fall, Delta Air Lines (DL) customers traveling between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) can enjoy enhanced dining and extra space with Delta Premium Select, as the airline introduces this popular product on domestic U.S. transcontinental flights for the first time.
Atlanta-based carrier’s Delta Premium Select will debut on September 10 on four of Delta’s 11 peak-day flights between LAX and JFK, featuring Boeing 767 widebody aircraft newly equipped with four cabin experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. Delta plans to expand to additional daily JFK-LAX flights later this year.
Delta New York-Los Angeles Flights
Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Brand Experience Design stated that
“This product has been successful internationally, especially following our recent onboard investments, and we know customers flying between New York and Los Angeles will appreciate the more spacious seats and premium experience.”
Delta Premium Select, introduced in 2017, is now available on most of Delta’s trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic flights, as well as select routes to Latin America.
The product has recently been updated to include more locally inspired dining options, premium hand-crafted amenities, enhanced service, and the ability to pre-select onboard meals.
Expanding Delta Premium Select to U.S. transcontinental flights is the latest in Delta’s decade-long investment in New York and Los Angeles, both in the air and on the ground.
Additionally, as Delta continues its commitment to providing fast, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile across its global fleet, customers traveling between these two hubs will have access to reliable, streaming-quality connectivity on all flights by the end of September.
