Inspired by the timeless production of Gesaffelstein, Fred again.. has joined forces with the French electronic music icon for a new single, “BerwynGesaffNeighbours.”
Released in collaboration with Gesaffelstein and BERWYN, the song appears on Fred’s compilation album, USB. The track is a rework of “Destinations,” a haunting single from Gesaffelstein’s influential debut album Aleph.
Taking to social media, Fred said he’d been “obsessed” with the song and worked on a myriad of different bootlegs with different vocals over the years. He ultimately sought the help of London-based singer-songwriter BERWYN, a frequent collaborator with whom he released “Berwyn (all that i got is you)” from his Grammy-winning Actual Life 3 album.
The release of “BerwynGesaffNeighbours” is accompanied by another new track, “ItsNotREEAALLLLLLLL,” which features Duoteque and Orion Sun as well as additional production by Skrillex. You can listen to both below.
Fred also launched a limited run of USB vinyl, which fans can access here by using the password “usb001.”
