Bill Burr to Host SNL’s Post-Election Episode



Comedian Bill Burr will host Saturday Night Live’s first episode post the 2024 presidential election on November 9th.

It will mark Burr’s second time hosting the show following a stint in 2020. This time, he’ll be joined by musical guest Mk.gee, who will be making his debut appearance.

Dave Chappelle hosted SNL’s previous two post-presidential election episodes in 2016 and 2020.

The following week’s episode, November 16th, will see Charli XCX pull double duty as both host and musical guest. The UK pop star has appeared twice previously as a musical guest, but this will mark his first time hosting the show.

This weekend’s November 2nd of SNL episode features John Mulaney returning as host with Chappell Roan making her debut as musical guest.
