NEWS FLASH
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has further reduced planned operations between the Emirati capital and Sarajevo this summer season. Over the past week, the airline removed an additional weekly rotation from its schedule from May onwards for a total of four weekly flights this summer. Last year, the carrier maintained daily operations between the two cities, with exception to April and June when there were six weekly flights. Wizz Air faces no competition between the two cities. All flights are scheduled to be operated by the 239-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft. Despite the reduction, Sarajevo Airport’s Middle East capacity will grow 27.6% this summer season, with Air Arabia restoring operations between Sharjah and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital after several years, Flyadeal inaugurating operations from Jeddah, and Flynas increasing frequencies.
