Here are the step by step instructions to make the recipe. We start by making the sauce.

👩🍳 How to Make Brown Rice Fried Rice
To make the brown rice fried rice, start by gathering the ingredients to make the sauce. Then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Chinese cooking wine, Worcestershire sauce and sesame oil to a small glass. Whisk to combined and then set aside.
Next working 1 at a time crack each of the eggs into a bowl and use a fork to whisk them. Once done place a large sauté pan on the stove top and turn the heat to high. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan and scramble them to cook, using a silicon turner to break them into small pieces as you go. Once the scrambled eggs are cooked, transfer them out of the pan and onto a plate.
When ready now add the peanut oil, onion, bacon, salt and pepper to the pan, followed by the garlic.

- Add the peas, corn and carrots (Photo 7)
- Add the cooked rice (Photo 8)
You can add the garlic at the same time as the oil, bacon, onion, salt and pepper, I forgot then saw it sitting on the bench which is why there is 2 photos above 😂👍.
🍚 Fried Brown Rice
Allow the onion to soften and the bacon to crisp a little as you stir fry them and once they have, add the frozen mixed vegetables to the pan. Let these thaw and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring as you go.
Then add the cooked brown rice to the pan and pour the sauce over the top.

Once you have poured the rice over the sauce, take a few minutes to work it in and ensure consistent coverage in the pan. This can be done with the help of a wooden spoon or silicon turner and will not take too long.
- Add the cooked egg (Photo 10)
Next add the cooked eggs back to the pan like you see me having done in the photo above.
- Toss and heat through (Photo 11)
Finally, you want to toss the egg so that it is gently stirred into the rice and when it is, sprinkle some finely chopped green onions over the top of the dish as a garnish.
