I have been writing my food blog for 11 years now, I got a notification the other day that I have had over 100,000 views which is pretty spectacular THANK YOU! And I can’t believe that I have not made my go-to banana bread recipe for you. I have been making this recipe for over 30 years. I think I made it a couple of even a few times a month, for some reason we never used to eat all the bananas that I brought into the house.
Before my granddaughter arrived I was only buying a couple of bananas and there were never any leftovers. Which is probably why I haven’t made this bread in a very long time. I now buy more bananas so she has a few snack options and I am super excited it is in the oven right now and I can’t wait for a warm slice of banana nut bread.
It is a simple recipe but I have never been disappointed, if you make it; I hope you enjoy it. If you have a banana nut bread recipe that you always turn to, share it. Who knows maybe its better than mine.
Banana Nut Bread
my go-to for as long as I can remember. It is moist, it is easy and delicious.

in a stand mixer add the butter and sugar and mix till combined. Add the egg and then all the dry ingredients.

Mash the bananas in a small bowl and then add to the mixer. mix to combined, do not over mix. Place batter in your prepared loaf pan and bake for 44 minutes up to an hour. Until you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.

Transfer the cooked loaf to a cooling rack and give it about 10 minutes before you slice into it. Freezes well if there are any leftovers.
