The 25th started out sunny, but ahead of us on the long trek from New Mexico back to Kansas we had two days of heavy rain. It made traveling, and photography, difficult. But the Warbonnets helped brighten up the otherwise dreary surroundings. Our first photo today has an eastbound slab train, loads or empties I don’t recall, crossing the Rio Grande shortly after leaving the yard at Belen, NM.
