I have always been passionate about technology, and logistics presented an exciting challenge to digitise and streamline processes. The vast potential for transformation drew me into this industry, where I saw an opportunity to make a real impact on global trade.

What quote has most resonated with you? 

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? 

One of the best pieces of advice I received is to “stay focused on the long-term vision, but always be flexible in your approach.”

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done? 

The most adventurous thing I’ve done was hiking through remote Himalayan trails, pushing both my physical and mental limits in a demanding yet rewarding environment.

If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would it be and why? 

I would choose Steve Jobs for his visionary approach to technology, Nelson Mandela for his resilience and leadership, and Leonardo da Vinci for his boundless creativity.

What’s something we wouldn’t know about you from your CV?

I am a big fan of Formula 1 racing and love following the sport when I get the time. It combines precision, speed, and strategy, much like the logistics industry.

What hobby have you always wanted to try but never got around to?

I’ve always wanted to learn to play the guitar but haven’t had the chance to dedicate time to it yet.

If you had not pursued a career in airfreight, what other field would you have liked to go into?

I think I would have pursued a career in technology innovation, perhaps focusing on something like renewable energy or space exploration.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? 

The ability to travel through time—there is so much to learn from the past and so much potential in the future.

What’s your proudest moment and your biggest regret? My proudest moment was when Kale Logistics won global recognition at UN for our contribution to digitising the air cargo industry. My biggest regret is not spending more time travelling in my younger years.

If there was a movie made about your life, who would you like to see play the lead role?

I would love to see someone like Christian Bale take on the role. He has the intensity and versatility to bring out the complexities of leading a global tech company.

Looking back over your career, what would your message be to someone considering a career in logistics?

The logistics industry is at the heart of global trade, and with technology reshaping the future, now is the best time to jump in. Be ready to embrace change and innovation, as the industry will keep evolving.

How do you motivate your team? 

I motivate my team by encouraging open communication, setting clear goals, and ensuring they have the right resources and environment to thrive.

What is the one item you can’t travel without?

A good pair of noise-cancelling headphones—they are a lifesaver during long flights.

Who is your role model? 

My role model is my father, who has taught me the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. His guidance and support have been the foundation of my success, inspiring me every day to strive for excellence and make a positive impact.

What would your autobiography be called? 

“Navigating the Digital Frontier.”

Cats or dogs? 

Dogs, definitely. They are loyal, energetic, and great companions.

Early riser or night owl? I’m an early riser—mornings are the most productive part of my day.

What’s the best and worst purchase you’ve ever made? The best purchase was my first tech gadget—a personal computer—it opened up my world to technology. The worst would be an overly expensive watch I bought on impulse and hardly ever wear.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

I could live off simple Varan Bhaat (plain lentil and rice)—simple yet full of flavour.
