Nomad launches limited edition Magma orange Sport Case & Rocky Point Band

Nomad’s latest color is a bold and dark shade of orange that they call Magma, and they say it’s inspired by the raw energy and intensity of molten lava. With its fiery edge, Magma brings a powerful new color with red undertones to the brand’s accessory lineup for those looking to make a spicy statement.

Magma Sport Case

The new Magma Sport Case by Nomad for the iPhone 16 Pro & 16 Pro Max offers 8 feet of drop protection thanks to a protective TPU bumper and raised lip for the rear-facing camera bump. Moreover, it offers a built-in magnet that makes it compatible with MagSafe, Qi2, and other magnetic wireless chargers.

The smooth, satin backplate is a departure from the brand’s typical glossy backplates, which I’m starting to take a liking to after getting to try the satin black case not long after the iPhone 16 Pro Max launched. These aesthetics are complemented by anodized aluminum buttons that offer a satisfying click when pressed.

A nice touch to these cases is that the interior is lined with microfiber to prevent chafing against the iPhone’s finish when dirt and dust make their way in. This keeps your iPhone looking like new, even months after taking the case off, such as when it’s time to upgrade.

Magma Rocky Point Band

The new Magma Rocky Point Band by Nomad for the Apple Watch Ultra & Ultra 2 is constructed out of compression-molded FKM fluoroelastomer rubber and includes color-matched black or silver grade 5 titanium hardware to complement your Apple Watch Ultra or Ultra 2’s case material.

The build material is not only 100% waterproof but is highly ventilated to keep breathability to its maximum so that you aren’t constricting your wrist during workouts. Also, unlike the brand’s typical sport bands, the titanium hardware ensures a tighter lockup to prevent slipping off under any amount of pressure.

Nomad’s Rocky Point Band is perhaps the brand’s most robust Apple Watch strap ever made. While it is made with the Apple Watch Ultra & Ultra 2 in mind, Nomad also says it will fit normal Apple Watches as well.
