Atomic Rule – the new band featuring former Every Time I Die guitarist Andy “The Butcher” Williams, Travis Bennington of Eternal Sleep, and some other guys that aren’t mentioned by name just yet – is working on their debut album! Atomic Rule and Bennington posted some footage of the apparent-trio jamming together, which you can check out below. No word on if Williams is still persuing a new band with former Every Time I Die drummer Mike “Ratboy” Novak, as the duo were jamming together in 2023.
So yeah, the breakup of Every Time I Die has resulted in so far three bands. Williams has Atomic Rule; Jordan Buckley, Stephen Micciche, and Clayton “Goose” Holyoak have Better Lovers; and Keith Buckley went on to form Many Eyes. What’re the chances we get all three bands on tour together? The answer is almost definitely “no fucking way.”
