Reacting to the tragedy on Monday, Funke Akindele shared the obituary on her Instagram story to mourn the actress.
Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele is grieving over the demise of her Jenifa’s Diary co-star, Jumoke Aderounmu.
Jumoke, aged 40, died on Saturday April 6. Her brother, Adeola Aderounmu confirmed her passing in an Instagram story on Sunday.
“You are in a better place now, my sister,” he wrote as he shared her obituary announcement.
Reacting to the tragedy on Monday, Funke Akindele shared the obituary on her Instagram story in which she described Jumoke’s death as “sad.”
“Sad!!! Rest well Jumoke,” she simply wrote.
