McFarlane Toys Launches DC Classic Darkseid Figurine

McFarlane Toys offers fans a special first look at a brand-new DC Classic Darkseid Mega figurine.

McFarlane Toys has unveiled a brand-new figure for one of DC Comics’ most iconic villains. The DC Classic Darkseid Mega figure will launch pre-order at select retailers on May 28.

McFarlane offered a look at the new figure on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) account. The DC Classic Darkseid figure design replicates his most enduring depictions in the comics and other media. The figure comes with a cape and showcases the New God about to deploy his infamously destructive Omega Beam. Legendary writer-artist Jack Kirby created the character, who debuted in 1970’s Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #134, to be the primary antagonist of the “Fourth World” metaseries. Darkseid made his first full appearance in 1971’s Forever People #1. He has gone on to appear in various media, including the DCAU animated series and the DCEU’s Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
