Mass: Cannabis Control Commission to Host Public Listening Session on Independent Testing Laboratories at Worcester Headquarters on November 7


WORCESTER—The Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) will host a Public Listening Session on Independent Testing Laboratories (ITLs) and related matters on November 7, 2024 beginning at 10 a.m. at the agency’s Union Station headquarters at 2 Washington Square, Worcester, MA 01604.

The Commission will take feedback on testing issues facing the industry throughout the cannabis supply chain, as well as general comments on ITLs. ITLs, host communities, state and local officials, and other stakeholders are invited to share input with Commissioners about the ongoing regulation of testing, ITLs, and their collective role in promoting a safe cannabis industry for Massachusetts. The hybrid event will be open to the public and streamed via Microsoft Teams Live.

Those wishing to speak in person or virtually will be able to sign up in advance and allotted three minutes to give remarks. The deadline to sign up to speak at the Listening Session is Wednesday, November 6 by 5 p.m. Those that are unable to participate, but wish to share input with Commissioners in writing, may email their comments to [email protected] with the subject line “Independent Testing Laboratory” by 5 p.m. on November 7, 2024.

Please note: any materials sent to the Commission may be subject to disclosure in response to a public records request pursuant to the Public Records laws, G.L. c.4 §7 cl. 26 and G.L. c.66 §10.
