Decor + Design 2025: the trade show countdown is on!

Decor + Design, Australia’s premier interiors trade event, returns to Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 16 – 18 July with a milestone 21st edition that will also feature the 2nd edition of the popular Green Design Show. The latter will be a beautifully curated area at the entrance to Decor + Design, showcasing truly sustainable design.

Over 10,000 design trade visitors are expected over three days to Decor + Design & Green Design Show, to see 200+ exhibitors showcasing the latest in indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, textiles, art and more.

Audiences love the seminar series

It is Australia’s definitive design destination, with popular features including the Seminar Series, Atelier Avenue, Elements Bar and VIVID Emerging Designer Awards. Plus, don’t miss design tips from James Treble and a live student design challenge at the new Charge Your Career Lounge!

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ELEMENTS

The 21st edition will have the theme of Elements, drawing on the essential elements of Terra, Botanica, Ether and Cosmos that inspire many designers. Decor + Design’s signature artwork for 2025 will tap into these and also incorporate the surrealist motifs of painter Rene Magritte. Using hero colours from 2025 Official Colour Partner Dulux Australia, you’ll see this theme weaving through the exhibition, particularly at the Entrance Feature and Elements Bar.

NEW! CHARGE YOUR CAREER LOUNGE

Styled by Temple & Webster, the Charge Your Career Lounge will be a place for emerging designers to gather during the show. Loveable designer and TV star James Treble will be in the lounge every day from 12pm–to-1pm, dispensing design advice, so come with a coffee and questions! The lounge is even hosting a live challenge for interior design students from 2pm-to-3pm on Wednesday 16 July, inviting aspiring designers to create a miniature showcase where sustainability, beauty and functionality meet.

Judged by TV star James, Dina Kalpouzos from Melbourne-based interior design firm Concept Living and Lucy Sutherland from Temple & Webster, there will be a $500 Temple & Webster voucher for the winning team.

KOALA LIVING TO STYLE THE NEW SEMINAR SERIES STAGE

Supported by The Design Files, the 2025 Seminar Series at Decor + Design will take place in a beautiful new Seminar Theatre on the exhibition floor. Koala Living will be styling the stage with pieces from their latest collections.
