Meta AI in WhatsApp can not only help you in creating impressive images or generating wallpapers for your chat, but a lot more than that! A new input reveals that WhatsApp will soon let its users summarize messages using Meta AI.
WABetaInfo noted that WhatsApp is preparing a new feature that will allow users to summarize messages via AI in chats, group conversations, and even public channels.
One such feature is already rolling out to Android device testers with the 2.25.15.12 beta version. The update is reaching users via the Google Play Beta Program.
According to the details, WhatsApp users will get a private summary of the new incoming messages. It is a perfect feature for times when you receive a bundle of messages from every chat and don’t have time to go through each one of them.
The feature will introduce a dedicated button that will let you summarize new messages via Meta AI. Once done, the summarized texts will appear on the screen with a private request processed by the Private Processing feature.
In case you are worried that your messages will be read by WhatsApp or Meta, then relax! Private Processing will make sure that your messages remain protected in every manner and don’t get exposed to WhatsApp, Meta, or third parties.
Simply put, the feature will not store or retain any of the original messages. The feature is currently in the beta phase but will soon make it to more users via a stable release.
