Xiaomi can resume HyperOS software updates activity starting next week. The company paused its software distribution following a Chinese ritual. Although it may once again come back to the track with new features and improvements on Monday.
The Chinese phone maker halted its HyperOS update rollouts and beta testings due to the Qingming Festival. It is a Chinese tradition celebrated to honor ancestors by cleaning tombs and offering food, flowers, and more.
During this period, the company closed its software development, allowing employees to enjoy with their families. However, Xiaomi will restart its work and HyperOS updates rollout, probably from the next week (Monday).
HyperOS 2.2 beta activities will resume for the flagship models. The firm could also release the final beta of the 2.2 version for other compatible models.
