Umbro Drops Northern Quarter Collection, A Tribute to Manchester’s Street Culture

[ad_1]

Umbro pays homage to its Manchester roots with the launch of the Northern Quarter collection for Spring/Summer ’25. Drawing inspiration from the city’s vibrant Northern Quarter, the lineup fuses the brand’s rich sports heritage with contemporary street style.

Key pieces include the Zip Off Sleeve Wind Jacket, a modern take on Umbro’s 1998 England team track jacket, now featuring detachable sleeves and a concealed hood for versatile wear. The Washed Drill Top and Washed Diamond Drill Sweat reimagine 1990s drill tops in washed cotton, adding integrated pockets for a fresh twist.

The campaign, shot by Manchester-based photographer Jay Johnson, spotlights local creatives like barber and ex-basketball player Jefe, street artist Tomas Gittins, and “Gone Fishing” vintage store owner Seb Dixon, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit of the Northern Quarter.

The Northern Quarter collection is available now at Umbro’s official website.
