Killing Heidi Announce 2025 ‘Reflector’ 25th Anniversary Tour

Killing Heidi have announced a national Australian tour for June 2025. The band are celebrating the silver jubilee of their debut studio album, Reflector, by playing the album in its entirety – as well as an encore of songs from their other two studio albums, 2002’s Present and 2004’s Killing Heidi. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

The band premiered the Reflector playthrough in December 2024, when they performed the album in full as part of that year’s Good Things festivities. They will be joined by singer-songwriters Siobhan Cotchin and Hassall for all dates, with the exception of Perth which will solely feature Cotchin as the opening act. In a press statement, lead vocalist Ella Hooper looked at the album – recorded when she was just 16 years of age – as “an unlikely success story”.

“Sonically, it was so adventurous,” she said. “We were so young, and it was such a wild-looking band for the time. But the songs connected, because they’re authentic teen stories. I think that’s the hook that’s made it last. Our shows give people the chance to remember who they were during that time and reconnect with those feelings.”

Killing Heidi – ‘Mascara’

Hooper went on to note that the current incarnation of the band aimed to give audiences “the best Killing Heidi show [that] they may not have got in the early 2000s”. “We’re better players now,” she added. “We’ve got a killer band covering all those myriad keys and vocal parts, finally. It’s insane fun.” Hooper is joined in Killing Heidi circa 2025 by her brother and co-founding guitarist Jesse, as well as long-serving drummer Adam Pedretti – who also played on Reflector – in addition to keyboardist Clio Renner (a member since 2017) and bassist Phoebe Neilson (a member since 2021).

Reflector was originally released in March of 2000. It topped the ARIA Albums Chart, was certified quadruple Platinum and scored the band four ARIA Awards at that year’s ceremony – including Album Of The Year. Singles ‘Weir’, ‘Mascara’ and ‘Live Without It’ were all top-ten hits in Australia, with ‘Mascara’ also topping the Singles Chart and both it and ‘Weir’ going Platinum.
