Despite Finnair’s overall capacity (measured in available seat kilometres) increasing 3.9% in March year-on-year, total passengers carried stood at 918,900; 3.6% less than in March 2023. Traffic for the month increased by 0.3% and passenger load factor declined by 2.7 percentage points to 75.0%. Available seat kilometres increased most substantially in the Asian market at 13.5% year-on-year, including additional flights to Japan and South Korea.
