Let's be completely honest. First of all, Kodaline wrote a winner when they wrote this song. Listen to the Lyrics or look at one of those Lyric videos, it will make you cry. Secondly, I love the fact that one, it is live and two it sounds acoustic. Third, I don't know if anyone has ever heard any other version because this is so popular, but I actually prefer this song sung by a female. The first time I heard it, it was on "The Voice". She of course changed some of the pronouns around to fit her, but she was incredible. Love this group, not a big fan of this particular video though. They could have done been. Just a note. Great song though.

I just wanna sit on a roof, night time with the stars in the sky, headphones in with this on full volume. Bottle of vodka by my side, tears running down my face and an oversized beanie on my head. Forget about everything and everyone, even if it’s temporary. This pain has to go, they say give it time and I have, all the time In the world but the pain, the dread the guilt, it’s just sticking with me and never leaving my side.

For anyone who wants to play this on guitar, here's how 🙂

Play through the first 3 lines twice; on the 2nd time through, add the 4th line! Play once through for each Verse!

There are few songs so sweet and tender regarding that deep loss that the crowd doesn’t immediately sing along.. no(, they need the infinite words to flow through them and tough their soul. A
