Gusty storms and rain are expected to hit parts of WA on Tuesday as Perth residents continue to bask in the sunshine and warm temperatures.
Bureau of Meteorology’s Sarah Scully said cooler conditions are forecast for areas in the north.
“We’ve got these gusty storms and showers across northern parts but also extending into the south-east as well,” Scully said.
“Much cooler conditions are forecast to extend across the south as that trough moves eastwards and also a risk of a shower or two about the Southwest Land Division and also about the southern coast.”
While other parts of the State deal with rain, temperatures in Perth are set to soar.
Locals will be in for a treat on Tuesday, with almost perfect conditions and a top of 26C.
However, things heat up from Wednesday with the BoM forecasting a top of 30C and a sizzling 40C on Thursday.
On Friday, Perth could experience some rain and even a thunderstorm but temperatures will remain high at a max of 30C.
