CSI Pacific Announces Groundbreaking International Partnership with LSVBW and OSP Stuttgart – Canadian Sport Institute Pacific
Through this partnership, Canadian athletes will gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, medical services, and a strong European base to enhance their preparations for major international competitions. This partnership is extended to all CSI Pacific’s National Sport Organization (NSO) partners.
In return, German athletes training in Canada will have access to the renowned facilities and expertise at CSI Pacific, reinforcing a collaboratively fruitful exchange of knowledge and resources.

It will also give them even greater insight into competing in the region ahead of the 2026 and the 2030 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. This combination of advantages will be a critical piece for Canadian athletes ahead of upcoming Winter Games.”

The partnership between CSI Pacific, LSVBW and OSP Stuttgart follows an exploratory visit in autumn 2024, during which the LSVBW/OSP Stuttgart team toured CSI Pacific’s Victoria campus, as well as those of COPSIN partners CSI Ontario and INS Québec. A subsequent visit to CSI Pacific’s Whistler campus from February 6-8, 2025, further solidified the foundations for this collaboration.
Looking ahead, CSI Pacific is eager to explore joint initiatives that will drive athlete and coach performance leading up to major global events such as the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles – and potentially Milan Cortina 2026.
To provide more information on this initiative, CSI Pacific will host an online NSO information session on February 26 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. During this session, representatives from CSI Pacific and OSP Stuttgart will offer an in-depth overview of the partnership, including details on the facilities and services available to Canadian athletes training in Germany.
