Rachel Brosnahan Used This P50 Dupe

Helping to lessen the beauty burden of Biologique Recherche discontinuing its beloved P50 1970, Rachel Brosnahan offered a solid swap we didn’t know we needed at tonight’s Critics Choice Awards.

Crafted by celeb makeup artist Lisa Aharon, Brosnahan’s glowing skin relied on a full prep from Danucera skin care. Created by renowned aesthetician Danuta Mieloch—she’s known for founding Rescue Spa, a spot that stockpiles P50—the sustainable line is hard-working and active-packed.

“Radiant skin is the ultimate canvas for any red carpet look, so prepping Rachel’s skin for the Critics Choice Awards was all about getting that fresh, healthy glow” says Aharon. “I started with Cerabalm, giving her a gentle massage to melt away any impurities and deeply nourish the skin.”

After wiping the balm away with a warm cloth, Aharon followed with the powerful D22 Tonic—this is the P50 dupe!—to gently exfoliate and create a smooth, balanced complexion. The exfoliating toner uses natural acids, minerals, enzymes and vitamins, and Mieloch considers it a “must-have prep-step” that works on every skin type to exfoliate, tighten, reduce wrinkles and unclog pores.

Then came Mega Serum, pressed into the skin to deeply hydrate and plump, followed by Iconic Eye, which Aharon tapped around her eyes to de-puff and smooth for a refreshed look.

“To lock everything in, I finished with Cream Supreme, which gave her skin the perfect amount of moisture and a naturally radiant finish,” says Aharon.
