Here’s one of Roger Puta’s photos. AT&SF F7A 344L, Train 16, the Texas Chief, being serviced at Oklahoma City, OK on June 7, 1967.
The "L" is just above the buffer. 344A was a F7B and 344B was a F3B. There was no 344C. The Santa Fe’s numbering of F- and E-units was different than that of other railroads. The best all-time Santa Fe diesel roster I have found is at:
