As we drove between venues for the Royal Scot, we saw lots of these lovely Lapwings [Green Plovers or Peewits]. I said to my wife that I’d always wanted to capture one in light which shows their lovely colours [they often appear to be black and white, from a distance.]. Bev tried to use the car as a mobile hide and got me to within 10 feet away with the light just right. Thank you darling!
