It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a flower photo 🙂
About the process:
I desaturated the background and shifted the color range using the "Channel Mixer". I also applied an inverted high-pass filter to soften some of the image–it also gives it a bit of a halo. I added two high-contrast layers, setting one to Luminosity and the other to Overlay. I applied the high-contrast selectively to the flower.
I struggled a bit with the color. There was a lot of noise in the pink petals. I used Neat Image to reduce the noise and then I increased the saturation using the "Color" blending mode.
