Taken through the car window while stopped in rush hour traffic this afternoon, this Redbud in the scrub woods reminded me that there is a real world out there, and not very far away at that. I opened the window to take the picture and smelled the clean damp of the spring woods through the traffic smells. It wasn’t a bad afternoon for a slow trip on a pretty road.
