The 2nd August 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of operations for easyJet at Bristol Airport. The first flight taking off from Bristol back in 2003 using Boeing 737 aircraft. Bristol Airport has become one of easyJets largest bases outside London with 17 based aircraft and over 650 crew employed.
So far the low cost airline has flown 72 million passengers to 70 different destinations both regionally and internationally. easyJet started its very first flights from Bristol Airport initially to Faro, Palma and Nice and since then the airline has continued to grow. This year easyJet has launched four new routes to Crete, Belfast City, Lapland and Tunisia.
